What you will do

• Design, build, and maintain ELT pipelines and curated data models aligned with enterprise strategy.
• Develop performant Power BI models and reports using DAX and visual storytelling.
• Lead discovery sessions and workshops to translate ambiguous business needs into technical data requirements.
• Profile and validate source data, embedding quality rules and root-cause analysis for issues.
• Document metric definitions, business rules, and technical specifications to enable self-service BI.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Finance, Marketing, Operations) to ensure data alignment.

Requirements

• Proficiency in SQL, including window functions and set-based logic.
• Experience with Azure, Databricks, and Lakehouse patterns.
• Strong skills in Power BI development, relationship design, and DAX optimization.
• Hands-on experience designing data models and maintaining semantic layers.
• Proven ability to engage stakeholders and elicit functional and non-functional requirements.
• Must be based in the UK.

Nice to have

• Experience with CI/CD for Power BI or data pipelines.
• Familiarity with CRM systems like Salesforce or Marketo.
• Background working in financial or regulated environments.
• Technical certifications such as DP-900, PL-300, or AZ-900.
