What you will do

• Shape and influence software product direction and roadmap prioritization for manufacturing-focused capabilities.
• Translate manufacturing workflows (e.g., demand forecasting, material planning, production orchestration) into software requirements.
• Drive AI-enabled innovation by identifying practical applications to improve automation and insight generation.
• Engage directly with customers and industry stakeholders to validate hypotheses and refine product direction.
• Partner cross-functionally with Sales, Professional Services, and Customer Success to support launches and drive adoption.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in manufacturing operations, with emphasis in discrete, complex project manufacturing (e.g., aerospace, defense).
• Deep understanding of the "jobs to be done" for manufacturing software users.
• Ability to articulate complex industry concepts to Product, Engineering, and executive stakeholders.
• Strategic perspective on integrating AI/automation into manufacturing software solutions.
• Bachelor’s degree.
• Must be based in the United States.

Nice to have

• Previous experience translating industry workflows into shipped software products or features.
• Demonstrable ability to anticipate future trends based on manufacturing industry expertise.
• Previous experience in manufacturing-focused GovCon.
