What you will do

  • Develop and implement sales strategies for digital sovereignty projects aligned with EU priorities in cybersecurity, data protection, and cloud sovereignty.
  • Build relationships with government agencies, public sector institutions, and private organizations supporting EU digital sovereignty goals.
  • Present tailored solutions, address client pain points, and ensure compliance with EU regulatory frameworks like GDPR and NIS Directive.
  • Oversee accounts and projects, collaborating with technical teams on proposals, presentations, and proof-of-concept demonstrations.
  • Monitor EU policies, funding opportunities, market trends, and competitors to identify growth opportunities.
  • Deliver sales reports, forecasts, and insights to senior management while collaborating cross-functionally.

Requirements

  • Fluency in English required; proficiency in other EU languages (e.g., French, German, Spanish) is a strong advantage.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Administration, Technology Management, or related field.
  • Proven experience in sales, preferably technology solutions or consulting services.
  • Strong understanding of EU digital sovereignty concepts, regulatory frameworks, and procurement processes.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, relationship-building, and project management skills.
  • Ability to navigate complex sales cycles, analyze market needs, and adapt to evolving policy and technology landscapes.

Nice to have

  • Familiarity with European Commission’s digital policies and EU funding programs like Horizon Europe and Digital Europe Programme.
  • Prior engagement with digital sovereignty projects or initiatives led by the EU.
