Customer Solution Architect (AI)

Location: Hybrid and remote within the United States; must reside in the United States and work Eastern Time hours, typically 9:00 AM–5:00 PM ET. Occasional travel of less than 5–10% per year.

Salary: $170,500–$225,000 per year

What you will do

• Own technical solution requirements and design enterprise-wide data-driven information systems, cloud architectures, and complex data platforms.
• Lead architecture decisions, technology and vendor selection, implementation, reengineering, and performance optimization.
• Develop AI adoption, governance, model orchestration, and enterprise deployment strategies across the full AI lifecycle.
• Design and prototype generative AI, LLM, and agentic workflows, including integrations with APIs, repositories, CI/CD pipelines, identity controls, and monitoring systems.
• Build consensus among data science, DevSecOps, compliance, business, customer, and end-user stakeholders while driving adoption through training and workshops.
• Lead and mentor individuals and teams while collaborating with the program Chief Architect and supporting AI implementation.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a related technical discipline, or 10 years of general IT experience with at least four years of specialized experience in lieu of a degree.
• At least 10 years leading architecture for complex cloud-based data pipeline and analytics systems, including 6+ years of hands-on data-centric software development.
• Experience with complex data and cloud architectures such as Databricks, Hadoop, EMR, Spark, and Redshift.
• Demonstrated experience with AI/ML, generative AI, LLMs, model orchestration, secure data solutions, PHI/PII governance, and scalable cost-optimized cloud systems.
• Experience with Agile or SAFe, software engineering best practices, Jira/Confluence, rapid prototyping, stakeholder alignment, and customer-facing consulting.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust and reside in the United States.

Nice to have

• Experience in Medicare, Medicaid, healthcare, commercial insurance, or with CMS.
• Databricks, Python, R, AWS, or AI/ML architecture certifications.
• Hands-on experience with prompt engineering, retrieval-augmented generation, LangChain, LlamaIndex, Bedrock, Azure OpenAI, Vertex AI, Pinecone, MCP, or A2A.
