What you will do

• Lead end-to-end design and development of new and redesigned online courses, focusing on asynchronous experiences.
• Apply instructional design principles like adult learning theory, Cognitive Load Theory, and multimedia learning.
• Design assessments and activities for mastery, certification readiness, and skill development.
• Integrate AI-enhanced strategies and digital tools to boost learner outcomes.
• Partner with SMEs to translate complex content into clear learning experiences aligned to outcomes.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, vendors, and partners to meet quality standards and timelines.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s preferred in Instructional Design, Education, or related field.
• 3+ years professional instructional design experience, preferably in higher education or workforce programs.
• Expertise in needs analysis, learning solution design, assessment, adult learning theory, and LMS-based development with UX/UI focus.
• Proficiency with LMS and digital course environments.
• Exceptional communication, project management, and collaboration skills.
• High comfort with technology in a remote work environment.

Nice to have

• Experience designing healthcare/IT courses, credit-aligned or university-partnered.
• Familiarity with WCAG accessibility standards.
• Tools like Articulate 360, Canvas, Moodle, Adobe Creative Suite, Trello.
