Senior Software Engineer, Core Experiences (Kotlin Multiplatform)

Location: Huntsville, Alabama, USA

Salary: $140,000–$200,000 USD per year, plus bonus and stock, depending on experience.

What you will do

• Collaborate with product teams to scope projects, reduce scope for faster customer feedback, and navigate integration and UX trade-offs.
• Deliver solutions through a cross-platform SDK.
• Optimize functionality for faster loading and more intelligent parsing by improving abstractions and algorithms.
• Build and ship cloud functions, lightweight backend services, and jobs using Kotlin.

Requirements

• Senior-level software engineering experience with strong systems thinking.
• Ability to design end-to-end systems and favor simple, reliable solutions.
• Experience collaborating with designers, marketers, product managers, and other product teams.
• Experience with Kotlin Multiplatform is required for the preferred role stack.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, asynchronous environment.

Nice to have

• Java experience.
• Prior experience with Google Cloud Platform.
