Senior Software Engineer (AI/Fintech)

Location: Hybrid in New York City or San Francisco, with remote work supported

Salary: $255,000–$300,000 per year plus equity

What you will do

• Design and build robust, extensible infrastructure for complex federal, state, and agency regulations.
• Develop scalable software applications and distributed systems for mortgage servicing.
• Learn the complexities of the mortgage and housing industry and translate them into reliable software.
• Work with Product and Design to define effective customer experiences for homeowners.
• Build and deliver new platform features quickly while maintaining quality and scalability.

Requirements

• 7+ years of software engineering experience building quality applications at scale.
• Experience with web or mobile application development, large-scale distributed systems, or infrastructure management.
• Ability to build scalable systems from scratch with a fast turnaround.
• Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Effective time management in a fast-paced startup environment.
