Location: Remote (United States); primarily working from home while covering the Colorado and Wyoming territories.

What you will do

  • Serve as the primary account lead and trusted advisor for state government and higher-education customers in Colorado and Wyoming.
  • Develop and execute multi-year account plans focused on network modernization, cloud enablement, and AI/edge infrastructure.
  • Manage full-cycle sales efforts, from discovery through close, including the navigation of complex RFP/RFQ cycles.
  • Collaborate with SEs, channel partners, and distributors to deliver comprehensive networking and security solutions.
  • Build and maintain senior IT and executive relationships to ensure customer satisfaction and long-term loyalty.

Requirements

  • 5–10 years of experience in technology sales or account management.
  • Strong understanding of networking technologies, including data center switching, WAN, Wi-Fi, and security.
  • Proven ability to manage complex accounts and multi-stakeholder selling cycles.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
  • Must be based in the United States to support the designated regional territories.

Nice to have

  • Experience selling into SLED, public sector, or higher education markets.
  • Experience with HPE Networking, Aruba, Cisco, Juniper, or similar vendors.
  • Familiarity with HPE GreenLake or other consumption-based as-a-service (aaS) models.
  • Knowledge of higher-education procurement cycles and grant-based budget planning.
