What you will do

• Design and oversee financial systems, processes, protocols, and policies.
• Manage Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), and the preparation of monthly financial packages.
• Develop and forecast budgets and provide financial concierge services to project directors.
• Ensure compliance with nonprofit best practices and GAAP requirements.
• Prepare timely financial statements and manage internal and external audits.
• Monitor cash flow and maintain analytics dashboards using Power BI and Rapid Reporting.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting from an AACSB Accredited institution.
• Must be based in a time zone that allows for early morning meetings.
• 5+ years of experience in financial planning, analysis, and modeling.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel (Pivot Tables, V-Lookups) and Journal Entry skills (debits/credits), which will be tested.
• Strong technical accounting background with knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting requirements.
• Proficiency in MS Office and financial systems such as SAP, Oracle, or QuickBooks.

Nice to have

• Master’s Degree in Accounting.
• Experience working with Nonprofit Organizations.
• Experience with ERP Systems and Advanced GL Software.
