Procurement Enablement Lead

TL;DR

Procurement Enablement Lead (Procurement Operations): Improve employee and stakeholder navigation of procurement processes across the spend lifecycle with an accent on workflow simplification, system enablement, and cross-functional partnerships. Focus on designing scalable processes, leveraging AI and automation to reduce friction, and analyzing data for operational improvements.

Location: Based in San Francisco, CA. Hybrid work model of 3 days per week in the office. Relocation assistance offered to new employees.

Salary: $216K – $240K + equity

What you will do

• Partner across Procurement, Finance, Legal, Security, Privacy, and Enterprise Technology to streamline request, routing, approval, and support workflows.
• Design and improve procurement intake, guidance, and employee experiences to reduce friction.
• Translate policies, feedback, and insights into requirements for workflows, automation, reporting, and process enhancements.
• Collaborate on system configurations for approvals, SLAs, escalations, and reporting.
• Identify AI, automation, and analytics opportunities to minimize manual work and boost service delivery.
• Analyze data and metrics to pinpoint friction, measure adoption, and prioritize improvements.
• Build reporting, KPIs, and performance insights for data-driven decisions.
• Support rollout of processes and tools through testing, documentation, training, and change management.

Requirements

• 8+ years in Procurement Technology, Procurement Operations, Finance Operations, or related roles.
• Hands-on experience with platforms like Zip, Oracle Fusion, VNDLY, Navan, Brex.
• Deep knowledge of Source-to-Contract, Procure-to-Pay, Travel & Expense, Contingent Workforce processes.
• Experience designing and scaling workflows, automation, and service models in enterprises.
• Strong analytical skills for metrics, data interpretation, and operational insights.
• Understanding of procurement controls, governance, SOX, and risk management.

Nice to have

• Experience with AI tools like GPT for workflow improvements.
• Process documentation and playbook development skills.
• Leading change management, training, and communications.
