What you will do

• Direct the global General Ledger function and provide strategic oversight to the accounting team.
• Champion an AI-first mindset by implementing automated solutions for reconciliations and predictive close processes.
• Define and execute best-in-class monthly, quarterly, and year-end close procedures.
• Implement rigorous internal controls and AI-enhanced audit trails to ensure financial reporting precision.
• Evolve general ledger data structures to integrate with modern AI agents and LLM-based analysis tools.
• Partner cross-functionally with Marketing, Legal, and Engineering departments to provide financial insights.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance and CPA or equivalent designation required.
• Minimum 7 years of progressive accounting experience, including leadership roles.
• Experience managing month-end close with extensive use of automation.
• Demonstrated success in implementing AI tools or advanced automation in accounting.
• Must be able to work on-site in New York (minimum 4 days per week).
• Experience in public accounting (2-4 years) is preferred.
