TL;DR

Security Systems Project Manager (Physical Security): Leading the deployment of integrated security technologies including access control and video management across the US West Coast and LATAM with an accent on end-to-end delivery of large-scale system installations. Focus on designing security layouts, managing vendor selection, and overseeing technical commissioning for new builds.

Location: Must reside in the Los Angeles Area. Regular in-person visits to the LA office are highly recommended. Travel (approx. 20%) to West Coast and LATAM project sites is required.

Salary: $140,000 - $160,000 per year

What you will do

• Lead all phases of security-systems projects including design, bid management, installation oversight, and final commissioning for new builds and MACs.
• Develop detailed project plans defining scope, schedule, deliverables, resources, budget, and risk management strategies.
• Design and review security system layouts (CCTV, access control, intrusion, intercom, etc.) according to company standards.
• Evaluate vendor bids and oversee contractors through installation to ensure quality and documentation accuracy.
• Coordinate with cross-functional stakeholders (Workplace, AV, IT/Network, Security Operations) to align project execution.
• Track project performance and financials, applying structured change-management processes.

Requirements

• 5+ years of project management experience leading enterprise-wide security-systems deployments and physical infrastructure projects.
• 5+ years of experience managing vendors, including installation oversight and quality assurance.
• Expert knowledge of Genetec VMS and Access Control, preferably with cloud-based deployments.
• Must reside in the Los Angeles Area.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, or a related field.

Nice to have

• PMP or CISSP certification.
• Experience within the Entertainment or Tech industry.
