TL;DR

Sr. AWS Sales Specialist (Cloud): Driving AWS and professional services revenue through strategic partnerships and co-selling with AWS with an accent on lead qualification and conversion at scale. Focus on managing the full sales cycle and designing AWS services strategies to drive customer consumption.

Location: Must be based in Chicago, McLean (VA), Washington DC, Maryland, or Texas

Salary: $95,100 – $120,120 annually + 30% target incentives

What you will do

  • Lead strategic AWS Services opportunities and ensure strict adherence to SLAs.
  • Drive services strategy and identify new growth opportunities for AWS consumption.
  • Own the end-to-end sales process, acting as the primary contact from lead generation to recognized recurring revenue.
  • Collaborate with AWS and hirify.global peers to co-sell and support customer engagement.
  • Meet with customer leadership to align AWS strategy with business goals and overcome technical challenges.
  • Participate in strategic business development to drive AWS enablement and field engagement.

Requirements

  • 8-10+ years of B2B sales experience, ideally within IT development, implementation, or consulting.
  • 5+ years of experience selling cloud computing, infrastructure, security, or networking solutions.
  • AWS Cloud Practitioner Certification is required.
  • Proven track record of success in solution sales with consistent performance to plan.
  • Strong executive presence and effective communication skills across all organizational levels.
  • Ability to travel to support customers and field sellers.

Nice to have

  • AWS Solutions Architect Associate certification.
