Salary: $211,200 – $300,000

What you will do
- Lead global privacy and product legal strategy, including privacy policies, data handling practices, and scalable legal processes.
- Manage and develop a team of privacy and product counsel, setting priorities and balancing workloads.
- Partner with Product and Engineering to embed privacy-by-design principles and advise on new features and go-to-market strategies.
- Advise on AI-powered features, focusing on model training data, output liability, and responsible AI governance.
- Lead privacy reviews (PIAs/DPIAs), data subject request processes, and cross-functional risk mitigation.
- Draft, review, and negotiate privacy-related agreements and DPAs for commercial deals and strategic partnerships.
Requirements
- J.D. from an accredited law school and at least one active U.S. state bar membership.
- 10+ years of relevant legal experience, including at least 3 years in-house at a technology company.
- Demonstrated experience managing, developing, and scaling legal teams.
- Deep expertise in global privacy law, specifically GDPR and CCPA/CPRA.
- Experience advising on AI, ML, or emerging technology products in fast-moving technical environments.
- Valid right to work authorization for the country of employment.

- CIPP/US and/or CIPP/E certifications.
