What you will do

• Lead the negotiation and review of SaaS, services, procurement, and technology partnership agreements.
• Build and refine AI-enabled legal workflows, playbooks, and automation tools to accelerate contracting.
• Provide risk-based legal guidance on IP, AI, OSS, and TOS throughout the product development lifecycle.
• Manage data privacy and AI governance, including DPA reviews and compliance with EU AI Act, GDPR, and CCPA.
• Collaborate with Security and Product teams on ISO 42001 implementation and FedRAMP compliance.
• Advise executive stakeholders on international expansion, IC compliance, and PEO/EOR usage.

Requirements

• J.D. from an accredited law school and active bar membership in at least one U.S. jurisdiction.
• 6+ years of legal experience in B2B SaaS, software, or data-driven technology businesses.
• Significant experience drafting and negotiating SaaS, vendor/procurement, and data-processing agreements.
• Must be based in or near Austin, TX.
• Authorized to work in the United States on a full-time, permanent basis without requiring employer sponsorship.
• Experience building legal operations processes and using CLM or workflow tools.
