Location: Hybrid (8 days/month), based in Waltham, MA, USA

What you will do

  • Structure, draft, and negotiate SaaS, enterprise licensing, and subscription agreements with private and public organizations.
  • Develop content licensing agreements for RAG models, LLMs, and other emerging AI technologies.
  • Advise segment leadership on contractual and regulatory risks related to new product offerings and marketing activities.
  • Provide counsel on HIPAA/HITECH Act, GDPR, and healthcare laws applicable to providers, payers, pharmacies, and HIT suppliers.
  • Manage outside counsel and collaborate with global legal teams on IP, litigation, HR, and M&A matters.
  • Build strong rapport with senior executives to drive effective, high-quality legal services.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree and J.D. (law degree) required.
  • Must be admitted to practice law in the state in which the candidate resides.
  • Minimum of 7 years of corporate/commercial legal experience, preferably across top-tier law firms and in-house departments.
  • Strong background in HIT, digital health concepts, and SaaS subscription arrangements.
  • Strong understanding of healthcare laws and regulations in the U.S. and EU.
