What you will do
- Structure, draft, and negotiate SaaS, enterprise licensing, and subscription agreements with private and public organizations.
- Develop content licensing agreements for RAG models, LLMs, and other emerging AI technologies.
- Advise segment leadership on contractual and regulatory risks related to new product offerings and marketing activities.
- Provide counsel on HIPAA/HITECH Act, GDPR, and healthcare laws applicable to providers, payers, pharmacies, and HIT suppliers.
- Manage outside counsel and collaborate with global legal teams on IP, litigation, HR, and M&A matters.
- Build strong rapport with senior executives to drive effective, high-quality legal services.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree and J.D. (law degree) required.
- Must be admitted to practice law in the state in which the candidate resides.
- Minimum of 7 years of corporate/commercial legal experience, preferably across top-tier law firms and in-house departments.
- Strong background in HIT, digital health concepts, and SaaS subscription arrangements.
- Strong understanding of healthcare laws and regulations in the U.S. and EU.
