Salary: $156,000 - $324,000 USD

What you will do
- Lead the execution of day-to-day sales and commercial legal process activities.
- Negotiate and draft complex SaaS and Contact Center as a Service (CCaaS) agreements for SMB and Enterprise clients.
- Partner with sales, finance, and account management teams to drive company business objectives.
- Provide legal counsel on telecommunications, artificial intelligence, and data privacy frameworks including GDPR, CCPA, and HIPAA.
- Develop and improve standard form agreements, playbooks, and clauses for the company's CLM tool.
- Manage a high volume of commercial transactions per quarter, including vendor and reseller agreements.
Requirements
- JD degree plus 10-15 years of combined law firm and in-house legal department experience.
- At least 6 years of experience drafting and negotiating complex agreements in high-pressure tech sales environments.
- Substantial experience with SaaS agreements, Data Protection Agreements, and Business Associate Agreements.
- Must be based in or able to work from the San Ramon office 3 days per week (M, W, TH).
- Expertise in data privacy frameworks (GDPR, CCPA, HIPAA) and telecommunications law.
- Strong knowledge of cloud business processes, go-to-market strategies, and operational efficiencies.
