Loan Officer Assistant

TL;DR

Loan Officer Assistant (Mortgage): Provide support to loan officers in reviewing applications, managing documentation, and facilitating closings with an accent on pipeline management and deficiency prevention. Focus on coordinating with customers, processors, and title companies to ensure timely loan processing for conventional, FHA, VA, USDA, 203K, and reverse mortgages.

Location: United States (all 50 states, D.C., Puerto Rico)

Salary: Hourly Rate $23.00 - $26.00, eligible for monthly bonus incentive

What you will do

• Assist in reviewing mortgage loan applications and documentation, including phone/computer work, printing, scanning, emailing, and overnighting.
• Review and deliver disclosure packages, rate disclosures, and re-disclosures to borrowers.
• Review loan files to identify deficiencies, notify officers/processors, and obtain missing information.
• Manage loan pipeline for various products, track outstanding items, and follow up with customers.
• Deliver appraisals/property valuations and facilitate closings with title companies and customers.
• Provide general clerical, phone support, and assistance in lending/processing stages.

Requirements

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years of mortgage-related experience, including customer contact.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Excellent prioritization and time management skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office applications.
