TL;DR

Director, Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP): Developing and executing people strategies for operational business units with an accent on organizational design, talent strategy, and executive coaching. Focus on scaling the business, aligning cross-functional resources, and driving inclusion across a complex matrixed organization.

Location: Zeeland, MI. Regular travel (approximately 50%) to West Michigan sites within a 60-mile radius is required.

What you will do

  • Partner with senior leadership to align HR strategy and priorities with the strategic direction of assigned business units.
  • Serve as a strategic advisor on organizational design, talent strategy, and alignment of cross-functional resources.
  • Lead HR disciplines including talent acquisition, employee relations, retention, compensation, and workforce planning.
  • Champion inclusion and employee engagement initiatives to foster belonging and equitable experiences.
  • Design leadership development strategies and succession planning.
  • Leverage HR metrics and analytics to demonstrate the ROI of people initiatives and inform decision-making.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 10+ years of progressively responsible HRBP experience, including strategy development and executive coaching.
  • 5+ years of people leadership experience partnering with executive-level teams.
  • Experience supporting highly matrixed and complex organizations.
  • Ability to perform regular travel (approximately 50%) within the West Michigan area.

Nice to have

  • Master’s degree in a relevant field.
  • Professional HR certification (e.g., SPHR, SHRM-SCP).
  • Global exposure in HRBP roles.
