Senior Product Designer (Infrastructure)

TL;DR

Senior Product Designer (Infrastructure/Networking): Designing secure network management experiences for IT administrators, DevOps engineers, and security professionals with an accent on end-to-end ownership of complex B2B infrastructure products across GUI and CLI surfaces. Focus on translating fuzzy technical problems into reasoned, shippable designs and integrating AI-assisted experiences into technical products.

Location: Remote (Must be based in Canada)

What you will do

• Own the full design lifecycle from early problem framing and discovery through to delivery and QA.
• Collaborate with PMs and engineers to transform ambiguous technical challenges into well-reasoned, shippable features.
• Deliver high-quality designs across multiple surfaces, including both Graphical User Interfaces (GUI) and Command Line Interfaces (CLI).
• Actively seek and incorporate feedback from peers and management to iterate and improve product quality.
• Analyze product areas deeply to understand the systemic implications of design decisions.
• Utilize AI tools to synthesize research, explore design directions, and pressure-test ideas.

Requirements

• 5+ years of product design experience with a portfolio demonstrating end-to-end ownership of complex projects.
• Experience designing technically sophisticated B2B or infrastructure products.
• Ability to operate independently, managing your own workload and shifting priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong written communication skills to clearly explain design decisions to technical stakeholders.
• Proficiency in working within distributed and asynchronous team structures.
• Must be based in Canada.

Nice to have

• Hands-on experience with hirify.global or familiarity with networking (DNS, VPNs, proxies, traffic routing).
• Experience designing specifically for developer or IT administrator audiences.
• Data-informed design practice using behavioral analytics or experimentation.
• Curiosity and fluency with AI tools integrated into the design workflow.
