Salary: $4,970.92 - $7,141.92 CAD Monthly

What you will do

  • Develop and maintain operating systems for the expansion of the ICS program to new learner groups.
  • Manage the Learning Management System (LMS), providing technical support and running moderator trainings.
  • Recruit, vet, and coordinate facilitators while managing associated program budgets.
  • Draft briefing notes, proposals, and status reports to manage project timelines and deliverables.
  • Coordinate community engagement, collaboration meetings, and feedback collection for program evaluation.
  • Collaborate on promotional materials and maintain the program's website via WordPress.

Requirements

  • University degree in a relevant discipline with a minimum of 2 years of related experience.
  • Direct experience and knowledge working with Indigenous people and communities, following engagement protocols.
  • Experience developing educational programming, workshops, and facilitating presentations.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and WordPress at an intermediate to advanced level.
  • Ability to be tactful and respectful during cross-cultural dialogues regarding race, privilege, and inequity.
  • Strong critical thinking, verbal and written communication skills.

Nice to have

  • Bachelor's degree specifically in Indigenous health, Indigenous studies, or Indigenous Cultural Safety.
  • Previous experience in Indigenous research.
