BIM Technician III (Revit)

Location: Remote within the United States; candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States. The role is associated with Lenexa, Kansas, and may require occasional travel of 10–15%.

Salary ranges: $92,720–$139,080 in New York; $88,160–$132,240 in Los Angeles; $83,600–$125,400 in Denver and Philadelphia; $79,800–$119,700 in Las Vegas.

What you will do

• Create and maintain complex 3D BIM models, layouts, details, schedules, drawings, and engineering documentation.
• Develop and implement BIM Execution Plans, project workflows, standards, and model documentation.
• Set up, maintain, review, and troubleshoot BIM models, including model health, data integrity, and compliance checks.
• Generate clash reports, coordinate solutions with project teams, calculate quantities, and perform engineering-related computations.
• Develop advanced families, schedules, Dynamo scripts, and automation tools to improve BIM workflows.
• Lead BIM coordination meetings, communicate with clients and architects, train users, and support limited project management activities.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required; an associate degree in BIM/CAD technology with 6 years of progressive experience, or 8 years of progressive BIM experience, is required.
• Experience producing mechanical and electrical drawings for HVAC, plumbing, fire protection, or electrical systems.
• Advanced proficiency in Revit, Dynamo, IMAGINiT Clarity, and Autodesk Construction Cloud/BIM 360.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and the ability to troubleshoot BIM software and learn new systems.
• Ability to communicate clearly, solve complex problems, work collaboratively, and lead less experienced BIM technicians.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate in English; legal authorization to work in the United States is required.

Nice to have

• Intermediate proficiency in AutoCAD and Navisworks.
• Advanced proficiency in ReCap.
• BIM-related certificate from an accredited institution.
