What you will do

• Lead discovery on complex, ambiguous problems within the network features product space.
• Translate abstract technical systems into clear problem frames using diagramming and system mapping to drive alignment.
• Deliver end-to-end design solutions for both GUI and CLI experiences.
• Partner with engineering and PM counterparts to move from ambiguous statements to reasoned solutions.
• Integrate AI tools into research, prototyping, and solution exploration workflows.
• Raise the bar for design craft and contribute to the broader organization's product thinking.

Requirements

• 10+ years of product design experience, including operating at a staff level or equivalent scope.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating experience with technically sophisticated B2B or infrastructure products.
• Must be based in Canada.
• Genuine interest in networking and security with comfort in complex technical domains.
• Proven ability to influence product roadmap and strategy across engineering and product teams.
• Ease working in a distributed, asynchronous environment with highly technical teammates.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with networking concepts such as DNS, VPNs, proxies, or traffic routing.
• Experience with cloud-native deployment infrastructure (AWS, GCP, DigitalOcean, etc.).
• Experience designing for developer or IT administrator audiences.
• Data-informed design practice including behavioral analytics or experimentation.
• Fluency with AI tools as part of your design workflow.
