Location: Remote (US-based). Note: This role is not eligible for hire in CA, CO, HI, IL, MD, MA, MN, NJ, NY, VT, WA, or Washington D.C.

Compensation: $159,210–$208,000 (based on location).

What you will do

• Lead the end-to-end user journey for Voice products, translating complex telecom abstractions into intuitive developer experiences.
• Drive cross-channel coherence by collaborating with Messaging and Email design teams to ensure a unified observability and configuration narrative.
• Shape mental models and information architectures for complex configuration wizards and multi-layered technical landscapes.
• Partner with AI and Conversations product teams to integrate advanced AI capabilities into voice workflows.
• Facilitate the UX Design Feedback Process and mentor junior designers to establish high craft standards.
• Collaborate with Product Managers and Engineering Leads to negotiate technical constraints and execute high-fidelity designs.

Requirements

• 8+ years of professional product design experience in highly technical software, developer tools, or complex B2B/SaaS platforms.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating structural systems thinking and data-driven design decision-making.
• Proven ability to influence cross-functionally and navigate organizational complexity.
• Comfort with ambiguity and ability to build clear frameworks out of abstract technical constraints.
• Curiosity about AI-powered tools and workflows to improve design speed and quality.
• Must be based in the US (excluding specific states listed in the location section).

Nice to have

• Experience designing interfaces for technical builders (APIs, SDKs, CLIs).
• Background in designing high-density data visualizations, live charts, or diagnostics dashboards.
• Direct engineering fluency or experience contributing to front-end code repositories.
