TL;DR
Director, AI Enablement (AI): Define and drive enterprise AI enablement strategy, roadmap, and operating model for mental health platform with an accent on responsible adoption, governance, and measurable business impact. Focus on leading cross-functional initiatives, prioritizing AI opportunities, and scaling workflows through pilots, standards, and training programs.
Location: Remote in the United States or Hybrid in San Francisco. Candidates must permanently reside in the US full-time. For SF area residents, 3 days per week in office.
Salary: $138,600–$220,000 + equity + benefits (higher range of $177,100–$250,000 for San Francisco, New York City, or Seattle).

What you will do
- Define and lead enterprise AI strategy, roadmap, and operating model aligned to company goals and member outcomes.
- Partner with executives to identify AI opportunities and manage intake, prioritization, and end-to-end initiatives from discovery to launch.
- Lead a team and influence cross-functionally across Product, Engineering, Legal, Privacy, Security, and more to scale AI adoption.
- Establish standards, frameworks, and guardrails for AI vendor evaluation, governance, and responsible practices.
- Drive enablement programs like training, playbooks, and champion networks to build organizational AI fluency.
- Oversee AI portfolio, deliver executive communications, and act as thought partner for cultural change.
Requirements
- 7+ years in product management/operations, technical program management, strategy, or digital transformation delivering AI/software projects.
- Experience leading cross-functional enterprise transformations with executive influence.
- Proven success setting AI/automation strategies, roadmaps, and operating mechanisms.
- People leadership building and mentoring high-performing teams.
- Strong AI aptitude (LLMs/agents, prompts, prototype-to-scale lifecycle) and ability to translate into business decisions.
- Analytical skills for metrics, dashboards (Looker, Tableau), and ROI evaluation.
- Partnership with Legal, Privacy, Security for responsible AI in high-trust environments.

- AI enablement experience in healthcare, digital health, or privacy-sensitive fields.
- Building enterprise programs like training, playbooks, champion networks.
- Vendor selection, contract evaluation, budget management for AI tools.
- Hands-on prototyping, prompt iteration, change management.
- Relevant certifications (PMP, CSM, AI-related).
