TL;DR

Transmission Line Land Agents (Energy Infrastructure): Negotiate and secure legal land agreements including rights-of-way, easements, and leases for transmission line and pipeline projects with an accent on stakeholder communication and title research. Location: Based out of the Alden, Kansas area; willing to travel to project sites for extended periods required. US work authorization required (E-Verify).

Salary: $30.00-45.00 per hour

What you will do

• Serve as primary point of contact for clients, landowners, stakeholders, and government officials on land rights acquisition.
• Negotiate easements, leases, permits, and damage settlements for permanent and temporary rights.
• Examine public records for ownership, title chains, and prepare acquisition offers based on local land values.
• Track project milestones, document all communications, and report progress to leadership.
• Represent client in meetings and ensure compliance with processes and safety policies.

Requirements

• Associate's degree + at least 2 years land services experience in oil/gas or energy industry.
• Knowledge of real estate principles; ability to work autonomously and manage multiple projects.
• Strong negotiation, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills; willingness to travel and work flexible hours.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google Earth, and interpreting legal documents.
• Ability to work in office and field environments.
