Focus on providing insight-led challenge, strategic analysis, forward-looking planning, scenario modelling, and optimising sales effectiveness, resource deployment, and long-term growth outcomes.

What you will do

  • Shape and own the strategic sales planning framework, aligning corporate strategy, commercial priorities, and sales execution.
  • Lead development of medium- and long-term sales forecasts, scenarios, and plans for investment decisions, capacity planning, and target setting.
  • Provide strategic insight and decision support through advanced performance analysis, scenario modelling, and forward-looking metrics.
  • Act as trusted advisor on sales strategy, operating model design, territory and account planning, and go-to-market effectiveness.
  • Define and embed performance management approach, including KPIs, dashboards, and governance rhythms.
  • Lead continuous improvement of sales processes, systems, and CRM tools; drive customer segment prioritisation and cross-functional alignment.

Requirements

  • Deep understanding of sales operating models, planning cycles, forecasting methodologies, and performance governance.
  • Commercial and financial acumen linking sales performance to financial outcomes; advanced analytical skills including scenario modelling.
  • Strong stakeholder management and influencing at senior levels; experience in CRM strategy and data quality.
  • Proven change leadership and ability to design new ways of working; excellent communication of complex analysis.
  • Significant experience in sales planning, operations, or commercial strategy in a complex organisation; track record influencing sales outcomes.
  • Degree in business, sales, or related field advantageous.
