TL;DR

Director Of Account Management (SaaS): Building and leading the next evolution of the customer-facing organization to drive retention and expansion for a practice management suite with an accent on strategic account growth and customer health. Focus on scaling high-performing teams, implementing AI-driven workflows to increase efficiency, and optimizing the B2B SaaS customer journey.

Location: Hybrid in South Jordan, UT (M, W, F in-office)

What you will do

  • Build, lead, mentor, and scale the Account Management team from the ground up.
  • Establish AM strategy, including customer segmentation, engagement models, and renewal/expansion motions.
  • Own customer retention and expansion outcomes, collaborating with Sales, Product, Support, and Marketing.
  • Develop data-driven processes to monitor account health and identify growth opportunities.
  • Implement and optimize AI-driven workflows to improve forecasting and team efficiency.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to advocate for customer needs and inform product roadmaps.

Requirements

  • Must be based in or able to work hybrid in South Jordan, UT.
  • 8+ years of experience in Account Management or Sales within a B2B SaaS environment.
  • 5+ years of experience leading AM or Sales teams, preferably building them from scratch.
  • Strong understanding of SaaS customer lifecycles, renewal/expansion motions, and churn mitigation.
  • Ability to leverage AI tools for forecasting, insights, and automation.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.

Nice to have

  • Experience with accounting, fintech, or workflow automation products.
  • Experience leading teams through rapid scale or high-growth environments.

Hiring process
