What you will do

• Ensure risks are identified, measured, monitored, and controlled while following risk and compliance policies.
• Perform control testing and oversight to evaluate business controls effectiveness.
• Lead walkthrough meetings, gather documentation, and document testing evidence in Excel, Box, and ServiceNow.
• Evaluate test of design and operating effectiveness, identify deficiencies, and assist with remediation plans.
• Partner with stakeholders to drive corrective actions and provide oversight for compliance.
• Advise leadership on control weaknesses, emerging risks, and escalation needs.

Requirements

• 3–6 years of experience in control testing, internal audit, or risk management
• Experience in insurance or financial services environments
• Understanding of test of design and operating effectiveness methodologies
• Ability to execute testing independently with minimal supervision
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Experience documenting evidence, meeting notes, and testing results
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

Nice to have

• Experience testing automated controls
• Experience supporting operational and compliance risk testing in insurance
• Familiarity with governance, regulatory compliance, and control remediation
• Technology acumen for testing automation
