Location: Must be based near a data center hub in Texas, Louisiana, Mississippi, or Alabama. Hybrid environment prioritized; remote work may be considered for candidates located more than 30 miles from an office.

Salary: $140,000 – $155,000

What you will do

• Ensure data center uptime and SLA adherence across the South Central region.
• Oversee incident response performance, escalation effectiveness, and post-incident corrective actions.
• Drive capacity readiness regarding power (MW), rack space, and staffing.
• Manage regional budget performance, vendor relations, and cost optimization.
• Standardize SOPs, MOPs, and EOPs across all regional sites to ensure auditable execution.
• Partner with Product, Network Engineering, and Finance to support new deployments and manage risk.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in critical facility operations, with 5+ years in senior multi-site leadership.
• Experience scaling data center operations in cloud, hyperscale, GPU, or HPC environments.
• Must be a U.S. person (Citizen, Green Card holder, etc.) to comply with export control regulations.
• Ability to travel up to 40% across the South Central territory.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, IT, or Business.
• Deep knowledge of data center infrastructure, including cooling, power, and fire suppression.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree in a related field.
• Proficiency with DCIM tools and building management/facility monitoring systems.
• Change management expertise and experience building executive KPI dashboards.
