What you will do

• Manage front-line staff, including recruitment, hiring, training, and scheduling of student employees, route setters, and instructors.
• Oversee bouldering wall planning and route setting strategies, including the implementation of setup, removal, and maintenance.
• Plan and deliver diverse programming such as drop-in sessions, camps, and event-based activities.
• Administer POS systems, manage inventory, and oversee all cash handling and secure payment processing.
• Maintain fiscal accountability by preparing budgets and reconciling accounts on a monthly basis.
• Develop and implement standard operating procedures, patron safety orientations, and customer service plans.

Requirements

• Undergraduate degree in a relevant discipline.
• Minimum of two years of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Full Class 5 driver's license.
• Ability to lift or move heavy objects of approximately 50lbs.
• Demonstrated commitment to equity, diversity, and inclusion.

Nice to have

• Experience and expertise with bouldering.
• Previous supervisory experience with part-time staff, student employees, or retail management.
• Working experience with Xplor Recreation software.
• Experience in a recreation setting focused on program and facility management.
