HR Generalist

TL;DR

HR Generalist (HR Operations): Handling employee relations, talent acquisition, benefits administration, compliance, payroll and HR systems with an accent on general HR operations and support. Focus on onboarding processes, resolving employee inquiries, maintaining HRIS data accuracy, and ensuring regulatory compliance.

Location: Onsite at Red Cat facility in Salt Lake City, Utah. Must provide proof of U.S. Citizenship or Permanent Residence (ITAR/EAR restrictions). No sponsorship for work authorization.

What you will do

• Assist with onboarding and offboarding processes, ensuring alignment with company culture and compliance.
• Respond to employee inquiries across HR functions and escalate complex issues to leadership.
• Maintain personnel files and records in HRIS (Paycom) and file systems with accuracy and confidentiality.
• Support employee relations, compliance with labor laws, internal investigations, and policy updates.
• Manage benefits enrollments, payroll backup, HR metrics reporting, and ad-hoc documentation for audits.
• Contribute to HR projects like employee engagement and performance management.

Requirements

• Associate degree in HR, Business Administration or related field (equivalent experience considered).
• 5-7 years in HR administration, payroll or generalist support.
• Working knowledge of HR laws, employee relations, and payroll functions.
• Proficiency with HRIS (e.g., Paycom), Microsoft Office, and cloud tools like Dropbox, Docusign.
• High attention to detail, commitment to confidentiality and integrity.
• Ability to pass post-offer background check.
