TL;DR

Operations Training and Customer Enablement Manager (UAS Drones): Create, implement and oversee training programs for new hires and customer enablement initiatives with an accent on adult learning, instructional design, and compliance with government standards. Focus on developing eLearning modules, selecting and managing LMS, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure safe, high-performing drone systems.

Location: SLC, UT 84115 (onsite); must provide proof of U.S. Citizenship or Permanent Residence (ITAR/EAR restrictions, no sponsorship)

Rapidly growing technology company developing Unmanned Aircraft Systems (UAS drones) for defense, public safety, and government security applications.

What you will do

  • Build and manage a world-class training organization for internal and external users.
  • Create eLearning modules, videos, and other materials to support products and workflows.
  • Select and implement an ideal learning management system (LMS) for tracking training.
  • Partner with manufacturing and engineering teams to develop job aids and curriculum.
  • Oversee compliance and ensure drones meet government and defense standards.

Requirements

  • U.S. Citizenship or Permanent Residence required (ITAR/EAR compliance, no sponsorship)
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or related field.
  • 5+ years in corporate training and instructional design.
  • Hands-on experience with technical training and eLearning tools (Captivate, Articulate, Camtasia).
  • Strong reporting, documentation, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities with minimal guidance.

Nice to have

  • Portfolio of instructional design and video work.
  • Strong facilitation skills for instructor-led and virtual training.
  • Experience in fast-paced, ambiguous environments.
