Salary: €6,542 - €8,842 gross per month

What you will do

• Transform monolithic systems into efficient standalone services utilizing Go.
• Apply Domain-Driven Design (DDD) and clean architecture principles to optimize service maintainability.
• Collaborate through GitHub pull requests and leverage AI tools like Cursor, Claude Code, and Copilot to improve code quality.
• Own critical alerts and business metrics to ensure 99.9% service availability.
• Conduct technical discoveries and cross-team collaboration to solve complex backend problems.
• Mentor other engineers and provide deep technical feedback through hands-on collaboration.

Requirements

• Experience building highly extendable and maintainable applications in complex large backend systems.
• Proficiency in applying DDD and clean architecture principles.
• Strong backend engineering skills; familiarity with Ruby and Go is highly beneficial.
• Ability to make pragmatic technical decisions in ambiguous spaces.
• Must be based in or able to work from Vilnius or Kaunas, Lithuania.

Nice to have

• Experience with MySQL, Redis, Vitess, Kafka, or Temporal.
• Experience with monitoring tools like Prometheus and Grafana.
