TL;DR

PHP Developer: Maintaining infrastructure with 60PB+ monthly data traffic with an accent on developing scalable systems and solutions. Focus on writing clean, tested, documented code and contributing to technical decision-making in a fast-growing project.

Location: Hybrid work (3 office days/ 2 WFH) in Vilnius or Kaunas, Lithuania.

Salary: 4000 - 7200 EUR/month gross.

What you will do

• Develop a system and solutions that could be easily scalable.
• Write clean, tested, documented code that delivers real business value.
• Own the entire development cycle - from research and prototyping to deployment.
• Deliver and review technical design, code, and documentation.
• Contribute to technical decision-making in an early-stage, fast-growing project.
• Create, review and maintain multiple microservices in order to optimize them for best performance and stability.

Requirements

• Deep knowledge in PHP (preferably Symfony framework, other frameworks - nice to have).
• Some experience or interested in Golang, NodeJS or similar languages.
• Know how SQL and NoSQL databases work and how to write optimized queries and debug them if needed.
• Know why automated tests can save the world.
• Real-time data processing and event streaming is something you already know or it seems to be an interesting field to you.
• Fluent in English and Lithuanian.
• Have some experience with any of the following technologies we extensively use in our stack: Docker, Kubernetes, Microservices, Kafka, MySQL clusters, Gitlab CI, Redis.
