What you will do

• Investigate and resolve complex customer issues in production environments using logs, core dumps, and traces.
• Perform deep diagnostics and identify root causes across database internals, OS interactions, and application behavior.
• Design and implement high-quality fixes and solutions in C/C++.
• Contribute to feature development, product enhancements, and core database components based on customer needs.
• Collaborate with other engineering teams to deliver timely solutions.
• Improve system reliability, supportability, observability, and participate in AI-driven engineering tools.

Requirements

• 4+ years of hands-on C/C++ development experience
• Strong debugging and problem-solving skills in complex systems
• Solid understanding of OS concepts: memory management, processes/threads, file I/O
• Experience analyzing logs, diagnosing crashes, low-level debugging tools
• Familiarity with data structures, algorithms, UNIX/Linux environments
• Strong analytical thinking and communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences

Nice to have

• Experience with database systems, MultiValue databases, performance tuning
• Core dump analysis, concurrency, locking, transaction systems
• Scripting (Python, shell), AI-assisted tools (GitHub Copilot, etc.)
• Interest in AI for debugging, log analysis, test automation
• Jira, Confluence experience
