Senior Backend Engineer II (Order): Building and maintaining high-impact backend systems for post-purchase experiences including shipping, delivery, resolution, and payouts with an accent on transactions, compliance, and user trust. Focus on extracting services from core order systems, ensuring 99.9% availability, and balancing regulatory requirements with business goals and user experience.

Location: Hybrid in Vilnius or Kaunas, Lithuania (2 days in the office recommended but not enforced).

Salary: €6,542 - €8,842 gross per month.

What you will do

• Develop backend services in the Order domain handling shipping, delivery, payouts, and compliance.
• Collaborate in a team of 5-8 engineers using Agile/Lean, GitHub PRs, and AI tools like Cursor and GitHub Copilot.
• Write unit/integration/e2e tests, monitor with Prometheus/Grafana, and participate in on-call rotations for 99.9% availability.
• Extract services from core systems, contribute to architecture decisions, and mentor others.
• Deploy to production multiple times per day with tech stack including Ruby, Go, MySQL, Redis, and Temporal.
