Director of Product Management (UAS)

Director of Product Management (UAS): Owns the global product vision and roadmap for UAS platforms and supporting software with an accent on regional manufacturing localization, partner co-production, and revenue growth across defense and commercial markets. Focus on translating operator needs and mission requirements into prioritized product strategies, leading a team of Product Managers, and ensuring executable plans aligned with engineering and business objectives.

What you will do

• Own product strategy, roadmap, and architectures across aircraft, payloads, ground control, and software, emphasizing localization, modularization, and technology transfer.
• Lead international productization, including regulatory requirements, compliance for foreign manufacturing, and standardized BOMs/test strategies.
• Manage product requirements, lifecycle, configuration control, and alignment with engineering and program schedules.
• Translate customer needs from direct engagement and field data into prioritized requirements, success metrics, pricing, and positioning.
• Lead and develop a team of Product Managers, including platform owners and international leads.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Management, Computer Science or related field.
• 12+ years in product management, systems engineering, or technical leadership, including leading other product managers.
• Experience building and shipping complex hardware-software products.
• Strong understanding of product development lifecycles from concept to sustainment.
• Ability to collaborate with engineering on technical constraints and make high-impact decisions.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Physical ability to walk/stand in facilities, lift 25 lbs, use PPE, and occasional off-hours work.

Nice to have

• Experience with UAS, aerospace, robotics, autonomy, or ISR systems.
• Background with military, government, or public safety customers.
