What you will do

• Lead by example in safety, ensuring proper PPE use, clean workstations, and safe material/chemical handling.
• Manage and maintain paint equipment, including automated paint systems.
• Perform full paint/gelcoat processes from surface prep to application and final finishing in controlled environments.
• Conduct repairs on damaged USVs and ensure finish standards for quality and durability.
• Complete process control sheets, report issues, and participate in design reviews, prototyping, and team improvement discussions.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 5+ years experience in boat finishing, automotive painting, or similar.
• Ability to read technical documentation and follow critical finish processes.
• Familiarity with OSHA, ISO9001, and manufacturing practices.
• Strong attention to detail, safety commitment, teamwork, and basic computer skills.
• Physical ability to stand/walk extended periods, lift 25 lbs, climb, stoop; exposure to noise/dust; occasional off-hours work.
