Boston Whaler-Gelcoater (Hulls) - Night Shift

Location: Boston Whaler facility in Edgewater, Florida; onsite, night shift; no relocation assistance.

Salary: $19.63–$30.39 per hour

What you will do

• Apply gelcoat to boat hulls, decks, and small parts according to production orders.
• Prepare required parts, raw materials, and materials according to production documentation.
• Mix pigments and gelcoat materials for accurate color matching.
• Inspect finishes for runs, sags, pinholes, and other defects, then make repairs or adjustments.
• Operate, clean, and maintain spray guns, brushes, rollers, and other application equipment.
• Meet production deadlines while following chemical-handling and shop-floor safety procedures.

Requirements

• High school diploma/GED, or at least one year of related experience or training, or an equivalent combination.
• Basic computer knowledge and the ability to complete routine paperwork.
• Ability to read, hear, interpret, and follow verbal and written instructions.
• Strong manual dexterity, attention to detail, organization, reasoning, and communication skills.
• Ability to stand or walk for extended periods and bend, kneel, crouch, climb, reach, and lift or move up to 35 pounds.
• Applicants must already be authorized to work in the United States; visa sponsorship is not available now or in the future.

Nice to have

• Previous gelcoating, marine manufacturing, boat repair, or related experience.
• Experience with Microsoft Office and Materials Requirements Planning (MRP) systems.
• Familiarity with modern warehousing practices and methods.
