Senior Product Manager (UAS): Lead strategy, vision, and lifecycle management for FlightWave’s UAS portfolio ensuring aircraft systems, supporting technologies, and ecosystem services form cohesive mission-ready solutions with an accent on integration and customer mission needs. Focus on defining multi-year roadmaps, driving cross-functional execution, and overseeing full product lifecycle from concept to sustainment.

Location: U.S. Citizenship or Permanent Residence required; must not require sponsorship for ITAR/EAR-restricted work; ability to obtain security clearance preferred. Based in Torrance, CA.

Compensation: $132k - $176k plus equity and bonuses.

What you will do

• Own product strategy and roadmap for UAS portfolio aligned with company vision and customer needs.
• Drive prioritization of new products, enhancements, and retirements for maximum value.
• Engage customers and stakeholders to uncover needs and shape product direction.
• Translate insights and trends into actionable requirements and roadmaps.
• Lead cross-functional teams in engineering, design, operations, and business development.
• Ensure integration across hardware, software, payloads, and ground systems.
• Oversee full product lifecycle and partner with sales/marketing for adoption.
• Monitor competitive landscape for innovation opportunities.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Industrial Engineering, MBA, Robotics, or related field preferred.
• 7+ years defining and delivering complex hardware-software products.
• Strong product management experience across full lifecycle.
• Technical fluency in aerospace, robotics, or defense.
• Experience with defense/government/enterprise customers.
• Proven cross-functional alignment on roadmaps.
• U.S. Citizenship required.

Nice to have

• Experience in low- to mid-volume electro-mechanical production.
• Familiarity with drone/UAV assembly or small aerospace platforms.
• Product ramps and production line setups.
• Managing defense/aerospace portfolios and government lifecycles.
• Compliance with NDAA, Blue UAS, ITAR/EAR.
• User research and operator-centered design.
• MBA or advanced degree.
