Resident Inspector (API/NDT)

TL;DR

Resident Inspector (API/NDT): Perform field inspections of industrial equipment including storage tanks, pressure vessels, and piping systems with an accent on mechanical integrity in pulp and paper industry. Location: Onsite in Brunswick, GA. U.S. Persons only due to ITAR export controls. Relocation assistance/incentive available.

What you will do

• Perform field inspections of industrial equipment such as storage tanks, pressure vessels, and piping systems.
• Generate written reports using MS Word and MS Excel.
• Manage projects valued from $5,000 to $100,000.
• Manage client relationships and communicate work progress/status effectively.
• Work with other inspectors on API and NDT related tasks.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in Mechanical Integrity in pulp and paper industry.
• Must hold at least API 510/653 certification.
• U.S. Person status required (citizen, permanent resident, refugee, or asylee) due to ITAR.
• High School Diploma required; Bachelor's Degree in related field preferred.
• Ability to work from heights, in confined spaces, around operating equipment, with radiation/hazardous materials; lift 100 pounds; work 12-hour shifts up to 7 days/week with travel.

Nice to have

• Additional NDT/API certifications.
• AutoCAD and/or Compress experience.
