Project Engineer (Environment & Energy)

What you will do

• Perform mass and energy balances, heat transfer, and pressure drop calculations
• Review technical documents, develop cost estimates, and provide cost-benefit analysis
• Create P&IDs, PFDs, logic diagrams, and instrument location drawings using AutoCAD
• Write technical specifications for instrumentation and equipment; approve quotes and requisitions
• Correspond with vendors, clients, and partners; create functional descriptions and manuals
• Coordinate project execution between mechanical, electrical, structural, purchasing, and project management teams
• Travel occasionally for meetings, sales support, studies, start-up, commissioning, and troubleshooting

Requirements

• BS in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering
• 3+ years of experience as a mechanical or chemical engineer
• Proficient with Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
• Good oral and written communication skills
• Ability to work in a team, manage time efficiently, and meet deadlines
• Self-motivated with desire to learn and grow
