What you will do

• Provide technical guidance, leadership, and training/mentoring for structural engineering design resources.
• Perform technical oversight and quality review, including code review, for structural engineering work.
• Serve as Engineer of Record and provide real-time technical advice and cost-estimate support.
• Review and direct revisions to design packages; review as-builts, submittals, and redlines.
• Coordinate across disciplines (Architectural, Mechanical, Electrical, Structural) and with outside consultants/contractors.
• Interface with code officials and contractors; participate in customer/owner meetings and propose value engineering ideas.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science in a relevant engineering field.
• Minimum 5+ years of relevant experience (8+ years preferred).
• Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) in the State of Arizona.
• Must be a US citizen or GC holder and be authorized to work in the United States.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit (or equivalent) and strong Microsoft Office skills.
• Advanced knowledge of design standards, principles, and practices; strong writing and organization skills.
