TL;DR

Human Resources Benefits and Compliance Analyst: Ensuring organization's adherence to employment laws, regulations, and internal policies through audits, reconciliations, and compliance strategies. Focus on scaling internal compliance tools, managing benefits programs including open enrollment and wellness initiatives, and handling government reporting like I-9/E-Verify, SCA, EEO/AAP.

Location: U.S. Citizenship is required due to customer requirements. Compliance with federal and state laws including workers compensation and state leave laws.

What you will do

  • Audit and reconcile Service Contract Act, PTO, and benefits using Excel.
  • Coordinate with accounting teams for reconciliations.
  • Design and execute strategies to improve compliance tools and practices, including remediation plans.
  • Manage standard benefits functions: open enrollment, program evaluations, workers comp coding, and travel tracking.
  • Handle I-9/E-Verify reporting, retirement plan testing, and government agency audits.
  • Maintain knowledge of corporate governance, compliance, and legal benchmarks.

Requirements

  • U.S. Citizenship required due to sensitivity of customer requirements.
  • Minimum 5 years in HR, employee benefits, compliance, risk insurance, or compensation (adjusted by education: Bachelor's +5 years, Master's +4 years).
  • Experience with accounting for reconciliations strongly desired.
  • Excellent Microsoft Excel and Office Suite proficiency.
  • Strong analytical, critical thinking, and communication skills.
  • Ability to interpret laws/regulations and work independently across functions while maintaining confidentiality.
