Salary: $145,300–$183,400 per year

What you will do

• Serve as Project Manager for energy infrastructure projects in North Carolina and surrounding states, handling varying sizes and complexities.
• Manage project budget, schedule, and risks using standard processes and tools.
• Build and maintain client relationships while identifying new business opportunities.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in natural resource/environmental field
• At least 10 years experience with permitting through USACE, USFWS, federal land agencies, SHPO, FERC, and eastern US state regulators (including North Carolina)
• Based in eastern US
• 5+ years project or deputy project management experience preferred
• Excellent communication, writing, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; able to travel domestically 0-20%
• US work authorization (E-Verify)

Nice to have

• Experience with FERC-regulated projects
• Advanced degrees or knowledge in environmental law, planning, anthropology/archaeology, hydrology, biology, or wetland ecology
• Technical editing experience
