Salary: $79,400–$136,500 per year

What you will do

  • Manage projects and tasks related to environmental review, permitting, and compliance for energy sector clients.
  • Analyze environmental impacts of proposed energy projects, specifically for natural gas pipelines and electric transmission lines.
  • Conduct biological field surveys and produce associated internal and external reports.
  • Perform stormwater inspections and necessary regulatory reporting.
  • Provide technical editing and document production for large, detailed project deliverables.

Requirements

  • B.A. or B.S. in environmental science, environmental engineering, geology, biology, or a closely related field.
  • 3-5 years of environmental permitting experience, preferably within the energy industry.
  • Familiarity with permitting processes via the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, NPDES, USFWS, FERC, or SHPO.
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S. (Verified via E-Verify).
  • Willingness to travel domestically between 5% and 50% for field work.

Nice to have

  • 1-2 years of experience in project management or deputy project management roles.
