What you will do
- Identify and manage new business opportunities in the Canadian defense sector, focusing on UAV technology.
- Lead the preparation and submission of bids, proposals, and tenders, ensuring regulatory compliance.
- Execute go-to-market strategies to effectively position UAV solutions within the defense ecosystem.
- Analyze market trends and procurement frameworks to identify potential growth opportunities.
- Collaborate with engineering, legal, and finance teams to align strategies with business objectives.
- Negotiate and manage contracts to secure favorable terms and ensure successful project execution.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience in business development, sales, or procurement within the defense sector.
- Strong knowledge of the Canadian defense ecosystem, including procurement processes and key stakeholders.
- Fluent English is required.
- Experience in the UAV/drone industry or government procurement is highly desirable.
- Excellent communication and networking skills with a strategic mindset.
- Willingness to travel internationally to represent the company.
