Rotary & UAS Business Development Manager (Aerospace): Pursuing and winning Rotary training and domain-associated mission support business opportunities with an accent on strategic capture, client relationship management, and procurement navigation. Focus on developing innovative solutions for the Canadian Defence & Security market, leading complex pursuit teams, and achieving significant annual order intake.
Location: Hybrid (Ottawa, Canada). Requires approximately two days per week onsite.
Salary: $129,400 – $179,400

What you will do
- Pursue and win Rotary training and mission support business opportunities, targeting annual order intake exceeding $50M.
- Identify market opportunities, prospect new clients, and grow existing partner relationships.
- Lead capture strategies and multidisciplinary pursuit teams, defining win themes and strategic positioning.
- Develop and position capabilities within the Canadian Defence & Security market, with a focus on the Naval domain.
- Collaborate with engineering and product teams to create and deliver strategic sales presentations.
- Implement effective offset strategies in coordination with the global offsets organization.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, physics, computer science, mathematics, or equivalent practical experience.
- 12+ years of experience within the Canadian Defence and Security industry.
- 6+ years of experience in Canadian defence procurement.
- In-depth knowledge of military air operations, maritime patrol, anti-submarine warfare, or UAS operations.
- Ability to obtain and maintain NATO SECRET Security Clearance and Controlled Goods clearance.
- Eligibility to work in Canada (Citizen, Permanent Resident, or valid Work Permit).

- Master of Business Administration (MBA).
- Bilingualism in English and French.
- Established professional network within DND, PSPC, ISED, or similar organizations.
- Experience developing and executing offset strategies.
