Location: Hybrid (Ottawa or Halifax, Canada)

Salary: $129,400–$179,400 CAD

What you will do

  • Drive growth by identifying, analyzing, and developing new business opportunities in the Naval domain.
  • Lead complex pursuit and capture teams, defining win themes and executing strategic plans.
  • Achieve annual order intake exceeding $50M for Naval Training and Mission & Operational Support accounts.
  • Collaborate with engineering and operations teams to create innovative solutions and strategic presentations.
  • Develop industrial and technological benefit (ITB/offset) strategies with the global offsets organization.
  • Conduct financial analysis and prepare business cases for senior management review.

Requirements

  • Eligibility to work in Canada (Canadian Citizen, Permanent Resident, or valid work permit).
  • Eligibility to obtain and maintain a NATO SECRET security clearance and Controlled Goods clearance.
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, physics, computer science, mathematics, or a related technical field.
  • Minimum 12 years of experience in the Canadian Defence and Security industry.
  • Minimum 6 years of experience with Canadian defence procurement processes.
  • Strong knowledge of the Naval domain and maritime operations or technologies.

Nice to have

  • Master's degree or MBA.
  • Prior Naval service experience in Canada or an allied country.
  • Established professional network within DND, PSPC, or ISED.
  • Bilingualism in English and French.
  • Experience with strategic alliances, joint ventures, or acquisition initiatives.
